Dragon’s Dogma Nameless Terror

Dragon's Dogma Nameless Terror

Dragon’s Dogma Nameless Terror is the name of the quest that awaits to be conquered. Ser Rickart is the quest provider that you will meet at the start. It takes place at Deos Hills, Estan Plains, Moonsbit Pass, and Manamia Trail.

To play the quest, it is first necessary to complete Seeking Salvation or Come to Court. Once you complete it, you will get a reward of 30,000 Gold, 12,000 Exp, 5 Rift Crystals, and a Tightly Folded Letter. It is a type of Sidequest in the Dragon’s Dogma Nameless Terror game .

It is essential to note that you can complete the quest in one night. To achieve that, you should keep up the pace by terminating the Nameless Men while avoiding other enemies. A good indication of when the Nameless Men will appear in the game is a sudden change in music.

Background

Nameless Terror is the quest you will get access to right before encountering the Duke in Come to Court. To start playing it, you have to interact with Ser Rickart. He will be standing outside Gran Soren’s south gate and offer the unsigned letter that lets you begin the quest. It is all about finding and killing the assassins, which the game calls Nameless Men.

Their main weakness is that they attack only at night. You will have to dodge ambushes during the course while getting rid of the bandit’s leader, i.e., Zero. As a result, you will get The Tightly Folded Letter.

Dragon’s Dogma Nameless Terror Walkthrough

On the way to your journey, you will come across five groups of assassins. So, you will have to navigate as many maps while sleeping until night at an inn.

In the quest, you will face eleven enemies, men, and women. These are known as Phantom, Soul, Ghost, Raven, Spirits, Condor, Hawk, Rouge, Darkness, Noir, and the bandit leader Zero.

Group 1: Phantom, Ghost, Spirits, and Soul

The first group of four bandits is Phantom, Ghost, Spirits, and Soul. You will find them on the road soon after the bridge that lies northwest of Gran Soren. It lies just falling short of the path forks east and west. It would help if you were careful as you will come under attack by a massive skeleton. So, it would be best if you avoided getting hit as much as you can.

Group 2: Raven, Hawk, and Condor

You will meet the second group of Raven, Hawk, and Condor outside The Ancient Quarry’s Northern Entrance.

Group 3: Darkness

Darkness is the third group in the Dragon’s Dogma Nameless Terror quest. To find that, head to the road that lies between the half-way gate-point to Gran Soren and The Mountain Waycastle. It is close to the Mountain Cottage and the Harpy Hills. The ambush is not straightforward, so you will have to work your way around. One ambush can occur in either of the four locations.

These are close to the Mountain Cottage, the captive cage with Harpies nearby, the big tree at the end of the path, and finally near the Gran Soren before the gate and Goblins. The Arisen may not encounter Darkness on his way to the end of the quest.

It is possible to circumnavigate him and directly to Rouge and Noir and then to their leader Zero. So, you might not have to kill Darkness in the first place.

Group 4: Rouge and Noir

To find rouge and noir, you have to reach the location by making your way from the Encampment to The Mountain Waycastle. You will see them at a loop on the road just north of the Abandoned Storehouse.

Group 5: Zero

The last group is the bandit leader, known as Zero. You will only encounter him once you kill all the remaining members of other groups in the Dragon’s Dogma Nameless Terror quest.

That holds, even though many Arisens will come face-to-face with Zero outside Cassardis. However, they will not encounter Darkness along the mountain Moonsbit Pass. Next, Zero will come out outside the main gate of Cassardis.

Once you overcome Zero, he will acknowledge the Arisen as genuine. As a result, you will receive the Tightly Folded Letter from him, and that will complete the quest.

Dragon’s Dogma Nameless Terror Review

Dragon’s Dogma Nameless Terror combines music and character dialogs in an action-packed game. Although the enemies are effortless to defeat, the music is scary enough to make the quest interesting. It would have been fabulous if they were harder to beat. The real difficulty is finding the Nameless Men, which will take some time and effort. When the bandits speak, their name appears in white instead of red.

There appears a glitch in the game if you kill Zero before he finishes his speech, you will not be able to instantly complete the quest. So, you should enter Cassardis and then exit out to Gransys. As a result, the quest will be complete as expected. Another issue is that he can still complete his speech even if he is killed before that. On the other hand, it is a popular belief the Zero is called so because he has no hit points.
